Act Your Age by Eve Dangerfield
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I am shocked by how much I enjoyed this book!
A little Dom/sub action is usually okay in my reads but the D/s "Daddy/daughter" trope has NEVER been something I would deliberately select to read. This book made it a very enjoyable subject matter to read without it becoming dark and incestuous. The author delved into the "why's" both main characters wanted this type of relationship and how they felt less than whole in any other type of relationship.
Past relationships influenced Ty and Kate's method of (and lack of in some instances) communication and caused them to base some possibly long-term decisions on fear of rejection based on these previous experiences.
I commend the author for writing such a thoughtful story based on a subject matter that be extremely uncomfortable to read about.
